Five basic tips about sitting

Sit on higher surface, sit with back support, sit with legs supported, sit with hips above knees, thighs are slanting down.


Standing

stand with shoulder distance bet. both legs, use good footwear, stand on firm and even ground, on both legs, don’t squeeze toes while standing.


Walking

Use good footwear, walk with small stride, bend legs in knee while walking, avoid hitting heal on ground, avoid swinging sideways while walking.


Running

Good footwear, equal strides, foot landing should be from heel to toe oll your foot from heel to toe as if your sole were curved like a partial wheel, avoid hitting foot on ground, look straight not down.


Swimming

Good hydration, good swimwear, avoid jerky sudden movements, stay close to surface of water, breath in through mouth and excel through nose, good swimwear reduces resistance, gives freedom of movement, dries quickly, good support, maintains body temperature.


Driving 2 wheeler

Sit with leg firmly rested on support, arched back with hands firmly on handle making body move anterio-posterior and not superio-inferior, relaxed neck, relaxed shoulders, shoulder distance between both knees.


Sleeping

Comfortable clothing, quiet place, less light, good ventilation, firm supported mattress.


Using laptop

Place it on firm surface, good support to elbow, tilted screen to avoid neck strain, avoid charging while using it.


Watching Television

Sit comfortable with good back support, legs rested on floor, hips above knees, sit straight, height of tv should be at eye level.


Using Mobile

Keep out of focal length, hold with both hands, avoid typing on it for more then 5-10 mins, avoid holding in one position for more then 5 mins, use hands free for talking and long hours of using, don’t use while charging.
